Quality Assurance

Quality Isn't a Department

It's every person, every stitch, every inspection. Five stages of quality control, one standard: your buyer won't find a fault.

The Standard

What Does AQL 2.5 Actually Mean?

AQL stands for Acceptable Quality Limit. It's the internationally recognised statistical sampling method used by retailers and brands worldwide to determine whether a production batch passes or fails inspection.

AQL 2.5 means: in any given inspection sample, a maximum of 2.5% of garments may have minor defects. If more than 2.5% are defective, the entire batch is rejected and reworked.

Our actual defect rate: <0.5%. We inspect to AQL 2.5, but our internal target is 5× stricter than what the standard requires.
